The Optica website was designed with accessibility at its core, guided by research into both WCAG standards and the specific visual and cognitive needs of individuals with Down Syndrome. High-contrast color palettes, clean layouts, and simplified navigation support a more inclusive digital experience that prioritizes clarity, ease of use, and visual comfort.

Informed by common challenges such as visual processing differences, sensitivity to clutter, and the need for intuitive navigation, the site features large, legible typography, clear calls to action, and a streamlined user journey. Every element was crafted to ensure users feel supported, confident, and empowered to explore with ease.
